GGz Centraal: Stress Autism Mate (SAM)
The Stress Autism Mate is a personalized, learning application that supports the self-management of clients with an autism spectrum disorder in dealing with daily stress. The project is widely supported by various parties who believe in the power of developing e-health together with users.
“We are proud to be able to use the Stress Autism Mate (SAM) to support clients in independently managing their stress. We do this by giving them insight into their stress patterns and giving them personal tips. SAM was developed together with scientists of TNO and with clients with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). With this fantastic support from Health Valley, we can give SAM the extra functionalities the app needs to make it even more personal. In this way SAM makes people with ASD resilient against the stress of today and tomorrow,”
says Yvette Roke, psychiatrist Emerhese Flevoland/Project leader SAM, GGz Centraal.
